A Bit About Me

After starting piano lessons when I was 5 years old, I quickly realized my passion for music stems from personal expression and the ability to evoke emotions in others.  For that reason, film and television scores always fascinated me as they guide the viewer, dictating how to feel. I wrote my first composition at 10 years old and continued to shy away from learning and playing pieces of classical legends but spend my time creating music of my own, so when I do paint a picture or a scene in someone's mind or make them feel a certain way, it is authentically from me. By the time I was a senior in high school, I had written three compositions, and I decided to take one of them a step further. I arranged my piece, Resolution, to include a French horn, cello, and violin to accompany my piano. The process was rewarding and the result even more so. A video of the live performance is embedded below.

After receiving a B.S. in Business from Northeastern University with a minor in music, I live in a small apartment in New York City. With no room for one, I miss being able to improvise and stumble across new ideas while playing around on my piano. To fill that void, I began writing pieces in logic with full orchestral layers with the same inspiration that has been driving my passion since I was 10 years old.  I have written and published two pieces that are live on all music platforms which are the first two installments to a project I call, Natural Disasters, which you can read more about in the "About Natural Disasters" tab. One of these pieces, Tsunami, will be featured in a Northeastern University student-directed short film, Subversion, this May.
